TSX Approves Share Issuance

Further to its news release of March 6, 2007, Eastern Platinum Limited (the “Company”) announces that it has received TSX acceptance to the issuance of the 12,000,000 common shares to Rhodium Reef Royalties as partial consideration for the purchase of a 1% net smelter royalty on its Spitzkop PGM project. The Company is proceeding to close this purchase and has made application for the 12,000,000 shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, expected to occur on or around March 19, 2007.

As a result of the issuance of these shares the Company has a total of 529,124,321 common shares issued and outstanding.
