Eastern Platinum Limited Annual General Meeting Notification

Eastern Platinum Limited (TSX:ELR)(AIM:ELR)(JSE:EPS) today gives notice in accordance with regulatory requirements, that it has mailed out its Financial Statements and Management Discussion and Analysis for the year ended December 31, 2008 as well as its Information Circular, Notice of Meeting and related proxy materials on May 7, 2009, in connection with the Company’s annual general meeting to be held on June 3, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Terminal City Club, 837 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  Copies of these documents are available during normal business hours on weekdays (except public holidays) free of charge from the Company’s office at Suite 250 – 1075 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  In addition, these documents are available on the SEDAR website at www.sedar.com and on the Company’s website at www.eastplats.com.
